Description: An impressive giltwood cartel clock. Resplendent eagle atop the case modeled with flowers, silvered dial.
Clock face inscription reads: In King Gough Square, LONDON
Dimensions: 34" (height), 20" (widest point), 7.5" (diameter of clock face.)
Condition: Very nice. The eagle, made of a porcelain-type material, was cracked and has been fixed (as pictured.) Actual clock may or may not be working but does not currently tick.
History: Bought by owner from Stair & Co. at auction about 20 years ago.
