Josef Originals Girl holding a flower 8 quot;

         These large beauties are very HTF especially in Excellent condition which makes them very collectible and valuable. Gorgeous large eyed girls are absolutely delightful. I have heard them referred to as quot;Large Moppet Girls quot; however as far as I know the actual series name is unknown. Wonderful hand painted detaling and life like faces. Lots of gold trim too notice the little gold buttons on her white sleeves Pictured in the Josef Originals books quot;Charming Figurines quot; on page 85 and quot;A Second Look quot; on page 76 as follows: Girl holding a flower Girl with parasol Girl with a puppy Lady in rose gown holding a flower basket Lady in lime green gown holding baby chick Lady in lavender gown holding kittens This is quot;Girl holding a flower quot; She is looking at a ladybug on the flower. 8 inches tall Excellent condition with no chips cracks repairs or crazing. The flowers on her dress and in her hair were quot;Cold Painted quot; which means the paint was added after the pieces were fired. Cold paint can rub off over time but that doesn't detract from the value. She has her original black gold stickers quot;Josef Originals quot; partial and quot;Japan quot; Incised quot;Josef Originals quot; on bottom. A lovely charming large Josef girl that will make you smile every time you see her. Pictures don't do her justice. You won't be disappointed You will fall in love and want all of them like I did. Please see all pictures and check out my other goodies. Thanks for looking ..

Josef Originals Sweet Sixteen Date Book

This is one of my favorite series made by Muriel Josef George. Who doesn't remember being Sweet Sixteen The series of six girls is delightful and as beautiful as they come with lots of gold trim and flowers and hair bows. You just can't resist them Of course they have the hand painted details and life like faces that make Josefs so special. They are pictured in the Josef Original book quot;Charming Figurines quot; on page 81-82 This is quot;Date Book quot; She is writing in her date book with a gold pen. She is wearing a beautiful pale blue dress adorned with a large pink bow and lots of flowers and gold spray. She has flowers in her hair and a gold bow and a gold locket around her neck. Just stunning Valued at 135 she is worth much more now especially in this condition. She is 7.5 inches tall Excellent vintage condition with no chips cracks crazing or repairs. There are two spots on her bow that are just flecks of gold paint Incised on the bottom quot;Josef Originals quot; Original black and gold sticker that reads: Josef Originals You will want to collect all of this darling series Or she would make a great birthday gift for somebody turning 16. Please see all my pictures which don't do her justice and check out my other goodies. Thanks for looking ..

Lefton 1987J Angel May

These little beauties are one of the most highly sought after and quot;Hard to Find quot; of the Lefton Angels. Each girl has her birth month written in gold lettering across the bottom of her skirt. Each is adorned with lots of gold trim. Some have spaghetti trim with diamonds and some a generous sprinkling of gold across their dress. Some have halos which make them even more desirable. All of the gold accents including the gold tipped wings and little gold shoes peeking out is what makes them so appealing. Also just look at that little face. Who could resist Made by George Z Lefton circa 1950's Pictured in the quot;Lefton China Old and New quot; book by Ruth McCarthy on pages 33-36. This is the quot;May quot; angel. She is proudly carrying the beautiful Mother's Day cake she made. She even wrote quot;MOTHER quot; on top and put a pink rose. She has a star in her hair. She is in Excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. Just the normal age crazing due to her vintage age. I just noticed the back rose petal atop the cake is sheared off though it really doesn't detract from displaying her. I have lowered the price accordingly Marked on the bottom quot1987J quot; She is perfect for the birthday girl or the angel collector or a great way to say Happy Mother's Day Please see all pictures and check out my other 1987J's and other goodies.
